Our Story

We Didn't Set Out to Build Another Widget

Fifteen years ago, one question kept our founder up at night: how do you get the thousands of shoppers already on a dealership website into the showroom, face to face, where deals actually get made? That question built our first product. Answering it honestly, years later, is what built intice360°.

How We Got Here

From One Visa Test Drive Tool to a Full-Stack Platform

intice didn't start as a website company. It started as an answer to one problem, and it grew one honest lesson at a time.

2011

The first product: Visa Test Drive

A customer registers for an offer on the dealership website, a lead lands in the CRM, and a $25 Visa reward card — branded to the dealership — incentivizes the showroom visit. Simple, automated, and built to generate first-party leads and real face-to-face opportunities.

2011–2018

Building the widget toolbox

A trade evaluation tool with real Kelley Blue Book values. A digital retailing tool for full deal structuring. A credit score tool with real FICO® results. Then Express Cash Offer — buy your car whether you buy one from us or not — borrowing a page from the big used-car retailers and turning it into a lead-gen engine of its own.

The Realization

Dealers don't need more widgets

A decade as a widget provider taught us the uncomfortable truth: stacking disconnected tools onto a dealership website doesn't help. They compete with each other for attention, they don't share data, and every third-party script slows the site down and drags SEO with it. The traditional model — one vendor for the website, another for chat, another for trade, another for credit — was the problem, not the solution.

R&D Phase

Starting over, on purpose

We stepped back and asked harder questions. Build on open infrastructure or from scratch? Cloud-based or our own servers? We landed on isolated, overbuilt servers for every dealer, WordPress as the open, endlessly customizable foundation, and one rule: no third-party widgets allowed in. A walled garden, built the way Apple builds an ecosystem — everything native, everything talking to everything else.

November 2023

The first intice360° website goes live

A Honda dealership right here in the Tampa market switched platforms — same marketing, same offers, only the website changed. Leads went up 40–50% in the first month, simply because the site was natively designed around conversion instead of bolted-on tools.

2026

HDS and ADDP

More Honda dealerships followed. Then we were asked to join the Honda Digital Solutions Program and the Acura Digital Dealer Program — official recognition for a platform built from a dealer's problem outward, not a vendor's roadmap in.

What We Believe

Our Operating Principles

These aren't slogans. They're the lessons that shaped every decision behind intice360°.

Digital retail didn't fail. Leadership did.

Process beats personality every time.

Speed builds trust. Confusion kills it.

Customers didn't change. Expectations did.

Technology only works when accountability exists.

Founder & CEO

Built by an Operator, Not a Vendor

David Farmer · Founder & CEO, intice

Fifteen years in dealership operations before he wrote a line of product.

David's background spans the full operational arc of a modern dealership — the sales floor, the desk, general management. That's where the question behind intice first came from, and it's why he still builds technology and shapes process directly with dealer groups and OEM partners today, rather than watching the industry from the sidelines.

He also wrote Becoming a #DigitalRetailer, a practitioner's account of what actually changed when car sales went digital — the same thinking that shaped intice360° itself.

Same real-talk take on dealership process and digital retail as the book, in audio form — new episodes covering what's actually working inside dealerships right now.
