04 · Key Takeaways

What the Comparison Says

Click a card to highlight it.

One sells exclusivity. The other sells price.

Dealer One’s site is built around things only that dealer can offer: a lifetime warranty, a benefits club, a volume claim. Dealer Two’s site leads with lowest-monthly-payment lease ads and the standard manufacturer program.

Opposite approaches to fine print.

Dealer Two is unusually explicit about its dealer-added fees, which is good disclosure but real cost behind the headline payment. The intice360° homepage stays clean and pushes differentiators.

A content maturity gap.

A custom build with a city-level SEO network, bilingual specials and human-voiced copy, versus a stock template with generic copy. One is an investment in owned marketing; the other is adequate and undifferentiated.

For a shopper.

Dealer One’s site competes on total ownership value and trust signals. Dealer Two’s site competes on entry payment.

For a competing dealer.

The playbook of exclusive add-ons, local SEO depth and bilingual service content is the harder one to copy, and the more durable.

05 · Owned Infrastructure

Search as Something You Own

Dealer One’s site treats organic search as owned infrastructure rather than something a vendor hands over: 42 locally written blog posts, 25 city pages, a 21-page model research hub, bilingual service offers, and structured data on the pages that matter.

Reputation follows the same pattern. The dealership runs a dedicated leave-a-review page and a Google-reviews showcase page on its own domain, and has 3,522 CARFAX-verified reviews at 4.5★. On Dealer Two’s site, the only review path we found was a “Read Reviews” link.

None of this is a ranking guarantee. It is the foundation that gives search engines and AI assistants more to find, understand, and cite.

Industry context

Dealer sites as a group struggle with page speed. Vendor-reported research found that only 0.4% of 1,910 top-group dealer sites (7 sites) passed Core Web Vitals on both mobile and desktop in 2025 (Overfuel), and a 2025 shopping report estimated about $30 of every $100 in ad spend lands on sites that fail them (Shift Digital). Those are third-party and vendor figures we have not audited, and we did not measure Core Web Vitals for either dealer above. They are context for why speed and crawlability deserve attention, not a result of this comparison. For the practical side, see how AI discovery optimization works and why Google AI Overviews now matter to dealers.

06 · Read It Carefully

What We Couldn’t Verify, and Our Own Gaps

Dealer Two’s site blocked our audit tool

Dealer Two’s site returned a 403 “block” page to every non-browser request from our test client, including its sitemap. That is common bot protection, and real search crawlers may well be served normally — we could not confirm either way. That is why many cells above show “could not be verified” instead of a verdict. We did not guess.

The practical takeaway for any dealer: confirm with your website vendor, and in Google Search Console, that Googlebot and the major AI crawlers can reach your sitemap and key pages.

Where Dealer One still has room to improve

Its homepage ships 157 images with none lazy-loaded and 14 missing alt text, there is no hreflang markup despite the Spanish content, and the homepage is script-heavy (82 scripts, 42 external). We did not capture Core Web Vitals scores: Google’s PageSpeed API returned quota errors for every attempt, so we measured server response time and page structure, not real-user speed.
