How To: Run Trade-Incentive Reports
Pull the Trade Maker Report to see every customer who's gone through Trade Value Express, including uploaded photos and CRM lead details.
What the Trade Maker Report Shows
Every customer who goes through Trade Value Express on your website — entering a year/model, selecting a condition, and optionally uploading photos for an Express Cash Offer — generates a record here, including their trade details, the vehicle they're considering next, any scheduled appointment, and the ADF XML lead sent to your CRM.
How a Trade Value Express Lead Is Created
On the website, a customer selects their vehicle from the Trade Value Express banner, enters contact information, picks a condition (or uses standard equipment), and optionally uploads front, rear, odometer, side, and VIN photos. Uploading photos automatically emails your management team a request to provide an Express Cash Offer — a real, human-reviewed number, not just an instant book value.
Finding and Reading the Report
- Go to Reports → Trade Maker Report.
- Filter by date and click a customer's name to open their record.
- If an Express Cash Offer hasn't been provided yet, you can add it directly from this screen.
- The record shows any uploaded photos, customer details, lead origin (including the exact URL they submitted from), and the vehicle of interest.
- The Lead Details tab shows the full ADF XML sent to your CRM — timestamp, subject, and which email addresses received it.
- The Appointment Details tab shows any scheduling information the customer selected.
Check Your Understanding
Answer all three questions correctly to unlock your certificate.
1. What triggers an email to your management team requesting a manual Express Cash Offer?
2. Where do you find trade-in lead reporting in the dealer portal?
3. What does the Lead Details tab of a trade report show?
